DBS in OCD
A June seminar on Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) was held at Shahid Sadouqi Hospital, Yazd, Iran. Professor Jafari, a psychiatrist from France, professor Yasini, a psychiatrist from Yazd; Dr Razmkon, the head of NeuroMaPC and Dr Mehdinejad, a psychiatrist from Shiraz were present at the seminar.
In addition, the French Poitier Research Center, the Pain and Nerve Modulation Center of Yazd University of Medical Sciences and the psychiatry department at Yazd University of Medical Sciences held a meeting regarding future collaborations in research and surgeries.
